Hello, Students:

My name is Arlene Zimmerly, and I will be your online professor for Computer Keyboarding 1 Online. I am also a coauthor of your textbook, Gregg College Keyboarding and Document Processing for Windows. You will use the most popular post-secondary keyboarding textbook and word processing software in the country in this full-semester, 3-unit class.

You will learn to type by touch, continue to increase your speed and accuracy, and learn to format documents using Word. Because you will be learning to type and to use the basic features of Word, you are getting the benefit of two classes combined into one. You can work at home on your own computer or use a networked computer at Los Angeles City College in one of our labs.
