The
deadline to resubmit all proofreading check documents, assigned documents,
and document processing tests is the end of class on Sunday of this week—NO
EXCEPTIONS!!The best
way to improve your grade is to work on skillbuilding to increase your speed
and accuracy. Then repeat any practice tests with low grades, and recreate
any proofreading check documents to earn back lost proofreading points. Take this warning very seriously. It could make the difference
between a pass and a fail for some of you.
Any late tests remaining
must be completed by Friday of next week. On the final exam day, only final timings will
be given—absolutely no document testing will be given—NO EXCEPTIONS. Anyone
who has missing documents or tests will earn a zero for any missing work.
If
you cannot meet on the day the final is scheduled, it is YOUR
RESPONSIBILITY
to schedule a time with Linda Motonaga or David Janvelyan IN ADVANCE OF THE
LAST DAY OF CLASS to complete your testing for your final timed writings.
Check your e-mail for details on dates and times.
Some students think they
can request an incomplete if they are not finished or are behind schedule.
ABSOLUTELY NO INCOMPLETES WILL BE GIVEN FOR THIS REASON—NO EXCEPTIONS. Check
Cell C1 for your grade to date. The timing speed entered in Row 7 is not
necessarily the same net speed (3-error limit) you will earn when you take
your final timings, but it is the best net speed you have earned to date on
your skillbuilding. Your final timings will replace the speeds indicated in
Row 7 when you take them this week or next. Late penalties are pending until
the last day of class.
