	This presentation will help you get started with Keyboarding Online and answer questions you might have. You are required to review it either at home or in our labs.

Orientation to Working in Multiple Locations (click here for pdf version)
	Learn to use GDP's Export, Import, and Upload features to transfer work between multiple locations such as campus to home, home to campus, and to the Instructor Management Web Site and Student Web Site in one operation. If you use the Student Web site, you will be able to view your work and your annotations anywhere you have an Internet connection and browser available.

	This orientation will help you get started with the Word manual, practice exercises, document processing jobs, the Reference Manual, Proofreading Viewer, and proofreading checks. Orientation to Proofreading Checks (click here for pdf version)
	Five documents have been designated on the Assignment Sheet as Proofreading Checks. This orientation will help you understand Proofreading Check documents including how they are created using the online Reference Manual and textbook; how they are scored by GDP, and how two separate grades are assigned to a document. You will use this information beginning in Lesson 31 around Week 8 of the semester. Click here for the pdf version.

GDP Exercises Types. Click here to go to the Gregg College Keyboarding and Document Processing training site where your students can view instructional videos on the GDP exercises shown at the right. When you get to the site, click Exercise Types in the left pane; then click the desired exercise in the bottom pane. Refer to the chart at the right to determine when to introduce each exercise type to your students.
